It was sad to swape mountain to road but it do goods on both video-and-photographer :)

Day 1 - It was a sunny, hot day which put a lot of challenge to runners.

Participators ran through landslides, beautiful scenery and back to take a hot shower in hotel.

Day 2 - Runners started in a heavy rain along the shore and climb the hill for about 10km.

When going downhill, sun came out, welcome to the finish.

Day 3 - Another hot and sunny day, start from a small village.

End on a beach behind 5-stars hotel.

... Another Nite ...

Another nite out in Sheung Shui, 10pm.
Sing and friends do some casual riding in the estate.
細路祥 did some inpressive BMX tricks.

Shooting Sing riding down these poles with 24mm manual lens, set at 1/6sec using ISO-800. Did not use pocket wizard to triggered the flash this time but using the Nikon SC-29 sync cable. SB-800 set at 1/16 power and pointing from below held with my left hand. The camera was stablized on the slope and handheld. I am happy with D5000 cos' I could shoot low angle without getting myself dirty. Though there are some bad on this non-motor drive body but flexibility is the trade-off :)

Yesterday Karen & I attended a talk conducted by Bella Ip - a Green fighter who is running an organic business including a series of natural handmade soap and cleans. She shared sustainable production means:

1. reduce carbon footprint(1);
2. protect local economy;
3. provide "organic jobs(2)" to local residence

(1) Carbon footprint is an indicator to measure the amount of green house gases emitted by fuel consuming human activities.

(2) Organic jobs are occupations that would not create environmental problems nor worsen social problems, enhance creactivity and support local economy.
